This state-of-the-art multi-leaf ventilation solution complies easily with stringent international standards, regulations, and testing for tunnel fire protection, isolation, balancing, and smoke control including UL555S Class 1 and BS EN 1366 Part 2, 1999. It has a 4-hour fire integrity rating per BS 476 Part 20 and AS 1530.4. Plus, it has a design life of 30 years.

Moreover, the standard JFM operates comfortably at +/- 3 kPa and the high-pressure option at +/- 6 kPa for 8 million cycles.

Actuator options for the JFM include pneumatic, electric, and electro-hydraulic which can either be double-acting or fail-safe spring return. These can operate for as long as 2 hours during a 400°C fire.
